United Change Makers is all about sustainability! The fashion industry is a huge contributor to the damage being done to our planet and the people who live on it. We all have the opportunity and ability to change the system, and we believe the time for change is now.
It’s our aim to create a brand that can make original and high-quality jeans that our customers love and want to wear over and over again. Importantly, we want to show that this can all be done whilst being conscious of our social and environmental impact.

Choosing to work sustainably was easy, but putting our thoughts and words into action is a little more difficult. We have never been fooled into thinking we are perfect, and every single day we are dreaming up of ways which we can work more ethically.
Ultimately, we want to be as transparent as possible, ensuring we are a brand which customers can trust. Our team are available every day to answer our customer questions. For those who want to hear a bit more about where we work, here goes!
Our collection is made in Indonesia, by a team that shares our passion for sustainability.
We knew they were ‘the one’ after our first visit back in 2019 when we able to meet the people who would be making our clothes and have a good look at the amazing innovations, they have to lessen their environmental impact.
The space was clean, safe with a lot of happy faces from everyone from the sewing line, to the offices upstairs. We took a tour around the water treatment facility which allows them to recycle the water they use, making their production and output much less water intensive. The great thing about this team is they know they aren’t perfect and are so open to new technologies that can take their production to the next level. We are very proud to be partnered with such an inspiring manufacturer.
There’s still a way to go and more we can be doing in terms of sustainability. We have so many ideas in the pipeline over the next few seasons, from changes within our production as well as distribution. Keep an eye on our blog and social channels for more regular updates on what we’re up to!
