Fashion Revolution is a worldwide movement calling for greater transparency and sustainability within the fashion industry. The week-long FashRev Campaign marks the anniversary of the Rana Plaza Collapse in 2013 which killed 1134 factory workers.
Since 2013, the team at Fashion Revolution has been a huge advocate for change, raising awareness of fashion’s most pressing issues and encouraging consumers to develop more considerate shopping habits. The hope is to shift the demand of consumers and urge brands to be more transparent about their supply chain and sustainability policies.
United Change Makers are passionate about people and the planet. We are committed to working as ethically and sustainability as possible to ensure our jeans are made with care by a team that are paid fairly under safe working conditions.
Why is it important for brands and consumers to get involved?
Sustainability is trending. Now more than ever before brands are seeing the importance of sustainability and they’re beginning to be more transparent about their supply chain and ethics. But there is always more that can be done.
The fashion industry is still opaque. It is still exploitative. And it is still a huge contributor to the damage being done to our environment.
The aim of Fashion Revolution is to rejuvenate the industry and ignite radical change in the way we produce, as well as the way we purchase. It is time for brands and consumers to unite and work towards the same goal of transforming the industry.
By supporting sustainable brands like us, you are championing a new kind of fashion. It’s time for a revolution, will you join us?
